Presentation Date: July 24, 2007.

Comments:

Good outline Alan...you seem very informed about the golf courses! The information was organized well and my only recommendation would be a better attention getter. Otherwise, good work! Good luck tomorrow, I'm sure you will do well. -Katie

Alan - I'm looking forward to your presentation because your outline is looking really good. I like how you bolded your source citations. I have to agree with Katie though on the atttention getter. Good luck and have some fun! - Ryan Aukerman

Alan- Wow no notecards, its obv that you knew a lot about your topic and def practiced. you spoke a little fast, but other then that good job! -Lisa

Alan- Your outline shows that you really know what you are talking about and it is presented in a great manor. I agree with Katie for the attention getter though. I am really excited to see your speech! Good Luck!- Lauren Grimes

Alan: I was very impressed with your memorization. It is so hard to do that and you seemed very natural about it. You didn't stumble or 'forget' anything at all. Good job! My other recommendation would be to work on your conclusion a bit more next time..it seemed a little weak and unorgainized. Great job though!-Katie

Alan- your information kicked major ass and i was really impressed that you had it memorized. i liked your orginization. but could have been a little better structured awesome job

1. There is a putting green running parallel to the range where you can practice the putting aspect of golf.

B. How does one pay for the driving range?

1. You can pay for buckets of golf balls inside the Clubhouse where they will give you a medallion for each bucket you purchase.

a. The medallion is to be placed in the golf ball dispatch, located to the left of the clubhouse for use only for the driving range.

Comments:

Alan, the speech looks very well detailed and researched, but golf isn't exactly a topic that interests many people traditionaly so try to come up with a good attention getter to spark our interests.

Ryan S

Hey Alan. This is a good, well researched, well organized speech from what I can tell. I just hope that you have enough passion about golf to flood over to the rest of us haha. You obviously care very much about your topic and have done a fantastic job including all the details. --Jesse
